I graduated from Faith Bible Theological Seminary in the spring of 1987. The education I received then has helped me in the ministry to better serve my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to better train others for His service. One thing that made a difference for me was the helpfulness of the staff and faculty—in their eyes, I was not just a student but a member of the seminary family. This encouragement bolstered my entrance into Christian service. Twenty years later, my education continues as I strive to fulfill faithful service as Dean of Faith Bible Theological Seminary.

At Faith Bible College and Theological Seminary, faculty members continue to have a burden for the local church as well as the ministry of each student. We view students as individuals with the potential to reach the lost for the Lord Jesus Christ; not simply as names, faces, or numbers.

Our Biblical standard is founded on the principle that all ministries function as an arm of the local church. Here at Faith Bible College & Theological Seminary, the President also serves as Pastor of the church. This model of Christian education provides students with resources and training through the ministry of the local church. The availability of the church buildings, its ministries and the staff help reduce the cost for each student.

When you visit our campus, you will find a lovely church building in which students may serve. Other outreaches of the ministry that contribute toward a well-rounded education are our radio station WTGF, the Helping Hand Mission, the City of Refuge, and the Home & Abroad Mission Board. The ability to participate in Sunday School, Jr. Church, music ministry, bus and van ministries, visitation, and youth groups such as the “Patch the Pirate Club” also present a wealth of learning opportunities.

Faith Baptist Church is an independent, fundamental Baptist Church that takes a stand for the King James Version of the Bible. As a pastor, a parent, or a student, you can have the confidence that this Bible-based standard will be upheld in the classroom. Preachers train preachers to insure that the Biblical message is delivered by a Biblical messenger. (II Timothy 2:2)

Many people today—not just those who feel the call to preach—desire to know the “deeper things” of life and the Bible. The Bible teaches us that the most important thing is our personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and the need of salvation for every individual. The plan for salvation is simple and basic; salvation is by grace, plus nothing and minus nothing. The Bible also has answers for questions remaining after salvation. How does the Christian live successfully in the spiritual darkness of today? What about life after death? How does one know they are saved? Our students receive clear answers to these questions straight from the Bible.

With the Bible as the foundational textbook in the classroom, additional building blocks for learning include updated curriculum, extensive course obligations and high overall objectives so that even our distance-learning students will receive the same quality of education as on-campus students. Our classes are audio recorded then uploaded onto our website or sent as an email attachment to distance-learning students. We also record chapel services so that these students may participate as a member of the student body.
